It was fun for a few minutes building a rail system literally in my back yard, but ultimately the experience was a little dry and I quickly lost interest. I thought I'd have endless hours of entertainment building all over the world, then realized a train system in my neighborhood was no different than building one in any other part of the world.

Most train sims involve moving passengers from heavily populated residential areas to commercial and industrial workplace areas and shuffling freight to where it's needed. This game doesn't really simulate that, it just randomly moves passengers from one populated area to another as far as I can tell.

I'm not sure what kind of a road map the game has, but I would consider re-purchasing in the future, only if there are some good updates to the game though.
