I strongly advise against it if you're looking to enjoy the gameplay — you'll be disappointed.

The game undoubtedly boasts a cool visual style and dynamic, characteristic musical accompaniment. However, that's where its advantages end.

The first two or three stages are somewhat enjoyable, but as you progress through the story, the game becomes artificially stretched. New enemies are introduced not to challenge you, but rather to irritate you (and they succeed brilliantly).

If you decide to play on a difficulty level higher than "easy," prepare for one of the most frustrating aspects — a constant ammo shortage. You'll be experiencing "ammo hunger" throughout the entire game, and I’m not exaggerating.

Sure, there’s a decent variety of weapons, but if all of them were actually usable, the ammo problem would resolve itself. Unfortunately, at least four weapons are practically useless: the knife, the pistol (due to its irrelevance in the later stages), the harpoon, and, surprisingly, the rocket launcher. It’s baffling how the developers envisioned using a rocket launcher in the tight spaces that make up 80% of the locations in the second half of the game.

The design and music were clearly handled by a genius, but everything else seems to have been done by a monkey.

If the sequel offers the same experience, I strongly advise against buying it.

However, if you're looking for a visually stunning boomer shooter to play on easy mode — why not? Go for it.

Первые два-три этапа ещё играются более-менее нормально, но с каждым сюжетным продвижением игра искусственно растягивается. Новые враги добавлены не для того, чтобы бросить вам вызов. Нет, их основная задача — вывести вас из себя (и это у них прекрасно получается).

Если вы решите играть на сложности выше лёгкой, будьте готовы к одному из самых раздражающих моментов — постоянному дефициту патронов. Вы будете испытывать "голод патронов" на протяжении всей игры, без преувеличения.

Да, в игре представлено достаточное количество оружия, но если бы оно всё было играбельным, проблема с патронами решилась бы сама собой. Однако минимум четыре вида оружия практически бесполезны: нож, пистолет (из-за его неактуальности на поздних этапах), гарпун и, как ни странно, ракетница. Разработчики, видимо, не задумывались, как использовать ракетницу в узких пространствах, составляющих 80% локаций второй половины игры.

За дизайн и музыкальное сопровождение отвечал гений, за всё остальное — обезьяна.

Если в продолжении нас ожидает то же самое, настоятельно не рекомендую к покупке.

Но если вы хотите посмотреть на красивый "бумер-шутер" на лёгкой сложности — почему бы и нет, можете взять.

Please, do something about the gas event. The gas fills the location way too quickly, leading to many failed games

The game is super raw: it needs proper anti-cheat, optimization, and maps that don’t encourage sitting in dark corners with a rifle but actually make people play actively

Beautiful visuals, good optimization, decent variety in weapons and special items

A lot of required grinding, limited variety in enemy types, and an excessive amount of necessary grinding

At first glance, it looks promising, especially compared to other Backrooms games.

If the developers finish the game and continue to update it periodically, it could turn out to be a real gem.

I think fans of the series will appreciate it.
