This is one of the truer next gen games to first hit the market. Each interior of buildings are detailed, and you can enter several buildings seemlessly. A huge amount of detail on objects with enough polygons. The gameplay has gone more towards the style of the first game, no more insta-kill execution streaks.

Now the bad, NPC pop-ins are intense and bad. Textures on distant objects is PS1 quality. Not to mention the game might bug on you quite often. Apart from that, if you can look past it, there is a wonderful next-gen game hidden beneath.

Also fun fact, ACUnity was one of the few games which weren't 'downgraded' so kudos to that too.

Glorious PC Port. Wonderful Nvidia Features like HBAO+, PhysX Smoke Turbulence on Shock Gloves, Tessellated Snow.

SLI is not that good, however there is a workaround and I fixed it pretty much quickly.

Incase you haven't played this with PhysX because you only have 1 Nvidia GPU, you should definitely revisit the title once you upgrade.

Speaking of Story, it wonderfully captures a young and 'brash' Bruce. The Combat is more fun now with the shock gloves, which necessarily doesn't mean press X to win, you still must time your moves and counters right, especially on NG+. Personally I feel NG+ should be offered right from the start. World is less dense compared to say Batman Arkham City, and the riddler changes are actually easier, so thats a plus or a con for this game.

This game is a must for people who enjoy playing good PC Ports (which is basically treating your PC to candy or something). Probably not worth the full price, however anything lower than 10$ is perfectly fine. Its riddled with DLC yes, but doing the NG+ afterwards (if you're into that) should pretty much feel of enough value. The only story DLC is the Mr. Freeze one which is completely different from the game, so no its not like they cut the ending behind a DLC wall or anything.

If you're disappointed by Watch_Dogs, then this is the right game to come to. The quality(texture) of this game puts many other games to shame. You can even read the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ billboards, road signs.
On a technical level I'd say the pedestrians have very less polygon count, the peds in Watch_Dogs are better, other than that, glorious game. You think Watch_Dogs looks best when it rains? Sleeping Dogs looks better.
If the 'rumored' HD version of this game is coming, I hope atleast the base game gets an upgrade in polygon count.

Also did I say? This is not a brute forced console port, this is a glorious PC Port.

Don't forget the HD Texture Pack DLC! Speaking of DLC, this game has many, but the base game is good, so cba. Most of the DLC is cosmetic with only one offering a 'spin off'. Its not like the others where parts of the main story are cut into DLC, for example the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending of Dead Space 3 is behind a DLC wall, what the hell.
