This game always has me coming back for more. It is a top-down dungeon crawler where you play as little Isaac in his attempt to avoid his own imminent demise. Between the religious overtones and pop culture references, every item has its own personality and will change the playstyle of the whole run. The permadeath feature and fairly short game times, coupled with the plethora of items to unlock gives Rebirth incredible replay value. The game has also received several free content updates, it only keeps getting better.
