Early Access Review
Though this is the best Mech experience you're going to get at the moment, there is a lot to improve on this game. For one it's super arcady and mechs are as fragile as a cardboard box. overal, the mechs lack scale and weight, from the outside they look big, but inside they feel small, the animation lacks weight i guess. The sound design is great, so that helps in it's favor.

The controls and movement are quite frustrating. no strafe walking, the only way to strafe is by flying, which costs fuel. strafing is very important with mechs, because you need to be able to move from and behind cover without taking your aim off.

Controls.. it's a walking machine but it controls like a wheeled car. A and D are for turning, but the game feels like an FPS and so i confuse those keys with Q and E all the time, but there is no key rebinding.

Motionsickness might be a thing. there are three moving elements together, the world, the body of the mech, and your command module. if all these three are moving relative to your head it creates a really confusing mess in your brain. I rarely have issues, and not at first, but after a long play session i felt it building up.

On the pros, defenitely a good concept here, best mech vr game at the market at the moment of writing. Graphics are great, cockpit is very detailed. good effects, a narrated tutorial, lots of mechs and custom guns. Overall a very good concept, and quite extensive. It's just that the core game loop is very frustrating.
