In Atlanta, a city somewhere in Georgia, Mr. Bones arrives as a baby as the sole survivor of a nearby airplane crash. He grows older and becomes the bar-spitting expert for the city. Andre Dickens, mayor of Atlanta, longs for a male child to be heir to the throne. After having seventeen children, all of them girls, he gives up hope, until he remembers fathering a boy decades before in Detroit, Michigan. He immediately sends Mr. Bones to find the future prince.

At the same time rapper Big J, along with his fellow rapper Nubulis, arrive in Detroit for a rap battle. A local gangster thug nuisance, Bryan, places a huge bet on Big J winning the battle, but just before it begins, Nubulis is injured in a freak accident when a passing plane drops a wheelchair on him. He quickly recovers, but is held against his will in a local hospital. Without his feature, Big J raps terribly, until he meets the awesome sauce Mr. Bones, who believes him to be the actual prince, and gives him a lucky verse. Big J nearly wins the rap battle until Mr. Bones remembers his mission and stops a quadruple entendre. Big J loses in disgrace, but meets his brother, WinPar, afterwards, whom he spits bars with. Mr. Bones notices this, and by impersonating him, kidnaps Big J.

The next day, Nubulis manages to escape from the hospital and goes on a search for Big J, along with WinPar and Zeezo. Enraged by Big J's performance, and by the fact that everyone had gone missing, Bryan mounts a search for them in a helicopter, along with two of his henchmen. After a series of brazy mishaps, they all meet near Atlanta. Mr. Bones introduces Big J to Andre Dickens, but after discovering that Big J is terrified of women, Andre Dickens disowns him, and prepares to off himself. The no-longer-local ganster thug nuisance Bryan quickly locates Big J and Zeezo, and attempts to kill them both, but both manage to escape. Zeezo finds Big J stoned out of his mind with a hot chick trying to talk to him. Big J overcomes his fear and gets her number. Andre Dickens sees this, and decides that he doesn't want to kill himself. Soon after, Bryan reappears, but Mr. Bones, with the help of a local gang, light up the helicopter in a drive-by, causing it to crash. Andre Dickens proclaims that Big J is his son, but asks Mr. Bones to spit a prophecy verse once more just to be sure. As Mr. Bones does this, Nubulis arrives upon the scene, and it is confirmed that Nubulis is the actual prince.

The newly formed gang return to Detroit, and absolutely demolish in the next rap battle.
