I played this game on PS5 last year and it was my absolutely my favorite game of the year. Easy purchase for anyone who likes good games, specifically souls like combat and its as simple as that. Add on the fact the T&A is divine, its an absolute must.

An instant classic. This is an rpg that can go toe to toe with greatest out there. The music, gameplay, artstyle and story is everything you could want out of an rpg and more. Do your self a favor if you even have a inkling to interest please buy and play this game.

Short and simple. I originally tried this game on mobile was completely sucked in. So I decided to purchase the Steam version as to support the developer and here I am 18 hours in and absolutely still addicted. Price for the base game + dlc alone is enough for me to support them. Ill literally throw $2-$3 their way when ever they want because this is what video games are about, just pure unadulterated fun.

Absolutely an amazing gem of a game. Really can't say much else. A must play.

Man was I late to the club playing this absolute gem of a game. It takes what you think will just be a cool little roguelike deck builder and completely flips the script on everything you know. I don't think I'v enjoyed many game in quite a while this much tbh. Yes its short(there is an endless challenge mode so you can definitely get way more out of the game) but the 10.5 hours I played were some of the most enjoyable 10 hours of gaming I'v had all year.

Absolute buy for anyone even remotely interested.

Had to at least finish episode 1 before writing a review. Honestly a great solid game. Great music, good level design and juicy secrets to be found, which are sometimes challenging to solve to boot. Can't recommend enough especially at its current EA price. If you liked games like Wolfenstein 3D, etc then its pretty much a must pick up in my opinion. Now to tackle those Nightmare runs as we wait for future updates and episodes.

My only real criticisms would be performance on some levels. Now I didn't experience any hiccups my self being I have a 4090 and 5800x for my system but I did notice the frame times were somewhat erratic which could be an issue on potato systems but from what I can tell the devs are working on optimizations so this should hopefully be solved after it leaves EA.

Absolutely an amazing sequel that does justice to its predecessor. Intricate puzzles that progressively get more challenging as your progress, beautiful if not out right gorgeous visuals, a fairly engaging and interesting story with characters that you end up actually getting attached to and last but not least great musics that set the tone of the game perfectly. Croteam out did them selves.

Now to mention some of my criticisms. There isn't much and the game is close to perfect in my opinion but I did find that the open areas of each zone sometimes to be a little too big at times. Now I didn't mind it too much because again the game is beautiful, so I enjoyed admiring the landscapes but there were times where I just wanted to go from puzzle to puzzle with no down time. That's basically it.

If you do end up picking up this game after playing the first one you will not regret it. This is how a sequel should be. An improvement from the original in every way.

What can I say that others have not said already? Loved every minute of this game. From the movement, combat, weapons, boss fights, music, awesome one liners(you know which one), and superb voice acting. This game was exactly what I wanted from Armored Core since 4Answer and I think Fromsoft nailed it while bringing the series to the modern age without losing the identity of the series. Beat NG+ and NG++ and plan on S ranking every mission as I believe I'v done everything else.

Amazing game.

What can I say that others have not already. This game is a love letter to the JSR series and emulates the same feeling and style to a tee. I finally did everything I wanted to do in the game, got all the characters, got all the collectibles, and even got all the high scores achievements. I feel very confident to recommend this game to anyone remotely interested. Its not the longest game(21 hours for me) but were these 21 hours the most fun I have had in a long time. Quality > Quantity.

Please support this game and developer. We need more games like this since Sega refuses to give it us(I know the JSRF might get a remake).
