Going in I was expecting to be playing as dracula, which I'm slightly disappointed about. I did not expect to be playing as the FIRST belmont, which is insanely cool. (If I'm understanding the story right)
Anyways, the gameplay itself is literally any of those old xbox promotional games of movies, like cloudy with a chance of meatballs or kung fu panda, but if you combined it with dark souls and castlevania. So excited to keep playing this and check out the other games, 100% worth a grab on sale.

amazing base game, has a great built in mod downloader too. very satisfying to fight, just wish dismembering wasn't an instakill and parrying had more value to it, like in GORN. but, thanks to mods you can get it like that :D

biggest downside of the game WAS that other players in multiplayer lobby wouldn't unlock characters, but they changed that. now my only downside is that if a player disconnects mid match, their character is just essentially useless. i would like if we could press space to control that character, that way they aren't just dead weight (can't upgrade, pick up weapons, etc., would be nice if you could control them for that.)

the game is good but its been breaking at the end of the run layer so im gonna play when there is a fix to that
