Excellent writing, fun world building, damned good characters and decent combat. An excellent follow up to Inquisition.

5 missions in, this game rules. Performance is much better than on launch day. Offering FPS controls is a daring move that I think pays off, lowering the barrier to entry but still allowing hardcore fans of the genre and series to play tank mode. It's not a competitive game so there's no harm in making it more accessible for a broader audience.

I've only played an hour so far, dropped about 10 times, and so far I've had a blast. Zero cheaters, a few tense evacuation engagements. I scored the most loot I've yet to find, but got hit by a mine. During evac someone started shooting at me and I spammed "Don't shoot let's work together" on the chat wheel. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ didn't relent so I shot him in the head and took his stuff guilt free 10/10 gaming moment. Will change my review later if the game disappoints but so far it's a lot of fun.

I don't normally play indie pixel games, and I rarely ever finish anything, but I dabbled in this game one time and played through the entire campaign in a week. Fantastic game, very well done bravo all. I loved optimizing my squads and picking perfect routes throughout the boards.

I just played through the entire game, and let me tell you I still have no idea what the plot was about, but it doesn't really matter. The insanely fun star ship battles and talking spaceship made it worth every second. I hope the development studio never stops making similar genre games. I'd like to see another game in a completely different universe tell a different story but with similar mechanics. 8/10 best space game yet.

I've become obsessed with trains. This game scratches the itch. The tutorial is terrible, but once the signal system clicks it's a lot of fun to optimize your routes. Checkout guides on Youtube because the in game guide won't help you understand how the tracks and signals work.

I played two hours and laughed the entire time. Excellently written, incredibly delightful. Captures the camaraderie that makes Guardians a hilariously good time right into the mechanics. If the rest of the game is as fun as the introduction we're all in for a fun adventure.

It's not a game, it's a life style.

My favorite RPG since Witcher 3. Imagine a super low budget indie game that is 7/10 as good as Witcher. It's such an amazing accomplishment. Everyone should pick this up.

Early Access Review
I played Hawken off and on since beta. There's a real gem here. Originally, the game felt pretty fun, but without location based damage the slow movement speed made the skill ceiling too low. The game was too easy. Mechs just kind of blasted each other until one died, each unable to avoid the other. The game needed to move more towards the Quake spectrum, and in the latest patch it seems like the developers finally figured this out. It has come a long way and they sped it up. Now, I highly recommend it.
