Willing to give this a positive review now. I think performance still perhaps isn't what it should be for the port, and I have experienced 2 crashes since coming back to it after the Feb. patch, but for the most part the game is playable now.

And it is a pretty great game. To be honest I don't think it is quite the masterpiece some people make it out to be, but making open world games like this with an engaging story is incredibly difficult, and H:ZD is very distinctive, plus for the most part does what it sets out to do very well.

I'm giving all the credit for the game's now playable state to the original devs, Guerrilla. As far as I can tell, seems like they have done all the heavy lifting for fixing the port that the porting company neglected with QA. Blame for the sorry state the game was in at release falls more on Sony and the hired porting company, Virtuous.

(Yes I am aware that Guerrilla is a Sony owned studio. I don't think it's too much of a stretch though to assume that the deal/contracting for the port happened at the executive level with Sony. I doubt that the actually people who dev'd had much say or even work toward the port before release, especially since they have their own future games in development and were not being explicitly paid to do the port)

I still hope Sony learns from the experience though and ports Bloodbourne.

Previously this review was negative because the "anti-cheat" system was a joke and hackers could use it to get innocent players banned.

The "anti-cheat" is still a joke, but you can no longer eat a ban from item injections anymore, and they re-enabled Family Sharing.

There is still plenty of issues with online play (like, there is an in-game setting for regional matchmaking, but literally the only region this effects is Japan)

But it's still my favorite game, even with all the flaws, so it feels good to give it a positive review again.

-Build cities.

Cons:
-No buttons to spam tornados, riots, earthquakes, UFOs, and nuclear meltdowns.
-No furious city council people.
