Simply put, the game is a masterpiece.

After 12 years, Ludeon is still supporting the game with excellent DLC and patches, and if you run out of things to do, the modding scene has thousands of hours of extra content. I've been playing this game since the day it appeared on steam, and I firmly believe that it's one of the greatest games ever made.

If I could only have one game for the rest of my life, without even a millisecond of thought, I would choose Rimworld.
