I've got a lot of survival games in my library, and this is among the better ones. Flawed, like all of them are, but with more features and refinement than most. And this is free.... I paid for the vast majority of the survival games I own.

For some, the 6 weeks till reset it too short, for many, too long and while you can actually play on a server for about 9 weeks, they turn into empty single player-ish games from week 7 to 9. It does mean that if you play once every 2 months or so, you can't really make progress in the main story quest.... but you'd have the same problem in Conan Exiles or Die2Night (now community revived as MyHordes -though I've not tired that version).

This can matter as there some games like Grounded or Enshrouded where I would come back to the game every 3 to 6 months or so and continue from there. This is NOT the case for Once Human. My first playthrough was not a playthrough as I went 3 weeks in (and the sad part is having to wait for the 5th week for the big phase) and life happened and when I came back, it was time to choose a new server. Though I did get all my stuff sent to 'Eternal Land' which I could transfer some out into the new server. So you do actually 'progress' as the leveling in the game isn't player levels (you can go from 1 to 50(max) in a single day.... a matter of hours if you join a 3rd week server) but rather 'blueprints'.

That and collecting all the Pokemo- I mean 'Deviants'.

The game is huge and way too much to cover in a small review, so I'll just end by saying:

I really like the Radio stations. I really do just chill in the game to listen to the in-game Radio.
