A beautiful game that captures a moment in time that I've only experienced second hand, in a part of the world I've never been to, but I firmly related to. The writing is straight forward which is refreshing for a visual novel as they can be too flowery and meander. It has no extra busy work or tasks, no random side stories, no creepy sexual exploitation for heterosexual men. It’s just a straightforward mature story of a woman coming into terms with who she is, who she finds attractive, and that cool, sexy, liberated woman that helps her wake up.

And while it’s a story you might have seen before in sapphic media, or personally experienced, I can’t say I’ve experienced one that really captured one’s own oblivion to their own sexuality in a way I related to as strongly. It encapsulates when you meet that person who makes you feel so in place, so free, that time seems to have no meaning and all you want to do is spend time with them, even if you’re not actually doing anything. And as a bisexual woman I believe that feeling of strong unexplainable love and attraction can be a relatable experience for anyone.

If you're a fan of visual novels I definitely think it's worth a try even if you aren't queer; the artwork, music and setting truly create a nostalgic atmosphere that is unique for VNs. And if you are queer stop wasting your time and play this game.
