A fun Hololive themed typing of the dead. Every Hololive member treasure has been zombified and its up to Sister Marine to purify them. Gameplay is exactly as seen in the trailer, the members will say something and you've got to type it back at them. To fully purify a treasure you've got to go through three levels of typing challenges. This will unlock hard and ultra hard levels for the member.

It feels like English players are playing on hard mode, since everything that you have to type is in Japanese and you are typing the romaji of what is being said. This will include all the quirks that come from typing romaji, like typing 'n' twice for ん and using - a lot. The - constantly throws me off when playing, I'm not used to using it so often.

Despite the extra difficulty, its still a fun typing game. If you like typing games, this one will definitely give you a unique Japanese challenge.

The game takes Plants vs Zombies and overhauls it with Hololive. Each time you place a Holodoll you'll get a voice line from the talent, so you'll be hearing a lot of Ame and Ollie laughter from the get go. So far there is a good mix of the talents spread throughout my playthrough. You start with Ame, unlock Ollie right away, and then Korone, and the game continues to mix JP, EN, and ID evenly as possible. It also doesn't take long to find Aqua and Sana, so graduated talents will also appear. The talents aren't just represented in the dolls though, as the robos you fight will also represent talents, and it can be fun to see who will show up next, though the robos are slower to show up than the dolls.

If you like Hololive or if you like classic Plants vs Zombies and want a new spin on it, you'll enjoy this game.

I'd never played a game like this, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It's kind of like Where's Waldo, except there are 150 Waldos in the picture instead of one. Its a super chill game that you can play while listening to a podcast, or if you just need something to focus on. There are 11 pictures to play on, plus a bonus Holostars picture (that had a lot of funny references on it, like Team Snake Bite). You can play easy and normal on most pictures, though some only have one difficulty. For easy, each hidden object you find, it will be colored in, so you are slowly coloring the picture in as you find things, and for normal, the hidden thing disappears as you find them.

You get medals and coins as you finish pictures. You can use the coins to unlock a few things, like effects, cursors, and voice packs. The voice packs are fun, but they each only have 2 or 3 different sounds for finding things, I do wish there was an option to just put them all together, having so few sounds play when finding hundreds of objects can make them get old fast. Fubuki's voice pack was the one I stuck with since the voice clips they chose for her were softer than the others.

I got 100% in the game after only 4 and a half hours, but I haven't tried the coloring mode yet, so there's more to do after finishing all the objectives. I'd say at 4 bucks its worth it, but it helps that Ollie and Gura were two of the focus pictures. They also have Miko, Fubuki, Fuwamoco, Kobo, Koyori, Okakoro, Pekora, and Calli.

Mon-Yu is a dungeon crawling RPG similar to games like Etrian Odyssey or other titles by the same developer Experience. If you've enjoyed their past titles, you'll probably also like this one.

There is a simple premise that serves to get you exploring the dungeon as fast as possible. The land of fairies is in trouble because a bunch of devil kings stole their treasure, so they isekai'd you and your team to help them recover their treasure. Now go explore the dungeon and fight the demons.

Your characters are customizable with no pre-determined back story. You choose their names, appearances (from a lot of portraits, including characters from past Experience games), and their class. The portraits and class don't have to match, if you like the portrait for a warrior, but want a knight in your party, for example.

Dungeon crawling is first person on a grid. A map will fill out as you explore (depending on your difficulty/play style, you may need to meet certain requirements to actually unlock the map.) The enemies are static encounters that respawn every time you enter a dungeon. The moment you leave a dungeon, you are fully healed, and if you wipe in a dungeon, your characters will get some extra HP and MP to better survive next time at the cost of some gold.

The interesting thing about this dungeon crawler is how experience works. Obviously your characters will level up, but there is also a level cap that raises as you explore and beat bosses. Once you have enough exp, you have to manually level up your characters, but you can also level down your character in order to be at the recommended level for a boss to get the highest rewards. You also get skill point experience that is separate from level experience. As your characters level up, they will gain access to more skills, and as you gain skill experience you can then learn those skills. So even with the level cap of the dungeons, you can gain a bunch of skill points if you feel like grinding.

Equipment also gets experience points. A piece of equipment can only level up as high as its rank, so even if you have leveled gear, if you find something that has a higher rank, you might want to switch it out so you can get this new gear even higher. Equipment with the same name can have different ranks, so while all starting equipment is rank 1, you'll eventually find equipment in the dungeon with the same name but a higher rank, and different stats. I've found two knives that are both rank three, but have different Hit % stats for example.

After every battle you will get a treasure chest that will have new equipment or items in it. Due to all of the above, it really seems like this game wants you to do a lot of fights, find the best equipment, level it up instead of your character, and then after you are ready, go fight the next boss. There are a lot of things to level up and grind for.

The music and sound is standard Experience fare, I'm pretty sure I've heard some of these songs before, and the sound effects are all familiar. The art style on this one is very different, and most things are in a chibi style. The character portraits for the game are all trying to be cute, and most of the returning characters have been redone in the games style. There are a few of them that look way out of place, but if you don't like that they clash, you don't have to use them, there is a lot of character artwork available to choose from.

I'm still super early in the game, but I'm having a good time with it so far. I'd recommend it if you like dungeon crawlers like this. I'll update my review as I play more if anything changes or the late game becomes a slog.

This is a game that was released for the GBC, and if you are a fan of retro games then it can be a fun time. Its a platformer with two characters to play. You travel through time to stop an alien invasion and save the world. The movement is a little slippery, kind of like Luigi in Super Mario Bros. 2 and jumping on enemies isn't as satisfying as it could be, as you just fall right through them instead of jumping off of them. Other than that, its a cute little adventure. I do mean little, I beat it in half an hour, but it also only cost three bucks, so that's not terrible. If you like Game Boy games I would say to pick this one up.

Early Access Review
I can't handle horror games at all, but somehow getting spooked with my friends is a lot of fun and I keep coming back to it.

A short but really cute Visual Novel about a struggling artist's trip to Melbourn. The story has a really authentic feel as the creator actually went to Melbourn and shot a few videos of the experience and then linked them in the game. It really makes you feel like a tourist visiting Melbourn. Vinty's story is really sweet and has a lot of silly moments that made me smile. As a heads up, this Visual Novel has no choices, it just reads straight through, though I do recomment stopping to watch the videos. Make sure to keep the games music playing as you watch the videos, as it adds to the experience as well.

Rouge Legacy is a gateway game into Rouge-lites and Rouge-likes (I hear there is a difference). You will die a lot as you explore the ever changing castle, and each time you die one of your offspring will take your place. Unlike other games, this game does have a sense of progression after you die, as you will keep your gold and can use it for permanent upgrades on your family manor, upgrades that unlock new classes or just increase stats. This game is a prime example of "just one more run" where you continuously want to play just one more run each time you die just to see if you can make it a little bit further or to try and get enough money for one more upgrade. I highly recommend Rouge Legacy for fans of the genre, or those curious about the genre.

Refunct is a relaxing platformer that you can complete in about half an hour. You go around finding buttons that will reveal more of the map. Every platform you land on will change to signifiy that you've landed on it, making it very satisfying to land on every single platform. There are a few hidden things to find as you explore, and finding them will unlock the acheivements. The game teaches you all of the mechanics as you play by putting you in situations that you didn't realize that you could get out of. It's a fun experience, even if a short one.

This game made me laugh. That's what it was trying to do, its a joke game about DLC, so it accomplished what it set out to do. If you are upset about the state of DLC in games today, you'll probably get a good chuckle out of this.
