Fun game; the parkour is surprisingly easy to pick up and get the hang of. Tons of tricks can be pulled off, even skipping huge chunks of levels with a bit of ingenuity. Combat's also nice, you have a slow-motion mode that automatically turns on at low damage giving you time to find a way to change the tide. If the enemy is giving you too much trouble, your mighty "Knight-Kick" tends to solve the problem. Overall, I had fun and the story while brief was an enjoyable experience.

Fun demake of Furi's first boss. the retro soundtrack is quite nice and the controls are responsive. That said, the boss fight being help during the rain does result in bright flashes every so often so do keep that mind.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is a great Game. The Visuals and Soundtrack are phenomenal. The Plot is great and doesn't need any prior knowledge of the Fate Franchise. The characters might feel like a retreading of the characters in Fate Stay/Night but quickly throw away that notion past the prologue. The game encourages a 2nd playthrough as new missions and extra details that give more context to the events in your first playthrough.

The gameplay's really fun. The gameplay is split into 2 main portions, Combat and Leyline capture. For the combat portion, you play as Iori Miyamoto, a ronin with access to several stances based on The way of the Two Swords. These stances allow quite a number of moves to fight with alongside some magic spells taught by his teacher. But if that's not enough, You can call upon your Servants, Heroes of the Past and Legends. You can summon them to perform special moves and if your gauge is full, You can take control of them for a set amount of time, often more than enough to defeat most bosses. While you are provided one for the duration of the game, you will meet other Servants who you can assist to get them to aid you in fights. Only issue I had is some enemies, namely the special monsters have a Shell gauge that needs to be depleted before Iori can deal proper damage, otherwise it's rather miniscule. The idea is to use your servants to shred through this or use spells but early on, this might take a while to fill up the gauge and spells are rather costly. This mechanic, while understandable to show the contrast in power between a regular human and a hero of yore, does feel like a rough gimmick. Though it does become less of an issue by the midgame.

Moving on to the leyline capture gameplay, this segment comprises of Iori and his servant attempting to capture neutral zones while fighting enemies to protect the controlled zones. Iori can split with his servant and summon others to help with this fact. While it does start off easy, it does get tedious to do upon further playthroughs due to being unable to split Iori and his servant immediately. Otherwise, its a fun gameplay element that helps getting extra loot for upgrades or to sell.

Overall, Fate/Samurai Remnant is a great game. Would recommend if you're into Hack and Slashes or you're looking to get into the Fate Franchise.

The game for an April Fool's joke is surprisingly good. Some sections are a bit tricky but you can adjust it in the options if they're not your cup of tea.

This game improves on Many parts of the Original. From a more fluid combat system to a smaller but much more well written cast, this game is a testament on how to learn from the mistakes you made. Now, the game's not perfect, with the models looking like its from early PS3 era often, but the visual style alongside a bopping soundtrack does well to mask it when you're in combat. I highly recommend this game should you be able to grab it on a sale.

P.S: If you are worried about the DLCs, none of them are mandatory so feel free to skip them as you wish. They're mostly stat buffs that will quickly be tossed aside and the OSTs while great remixes of the first game, I can't really say you need them, and they're mainly fanservice for fans of the original.

Pillars of Eternity is not only a great game, but it is also a great CRPG. It provides a plethora of options for roleplaying, from your character's background to how you interact with the world. Your companions all have comments based on your current situation and surroundings alongside banter with one another. The main story alongside the few dozen side missions all have interesting stories to tell and manages to subvert expectations every step of the way.

On the combat side of things, it's pretty great. You do have a rather limited arsenal at the start but before long, you have plenty of options to tackle a fight. From using traps, sneak attacking or just chain lightning every single one of them before they know what hit them. Cause you know, they're dead. Don't fret too much on what class you choose to go with, there are hardly any weapon or armor restrictions barring the class specific ones and all your companions are made from the classes that are available to you from the start, allowing you to have fun with what they have to offer.

Overall, would highly recommend to fans of CRPGs and people who want an Epic story that will keep you hooked from start to finish.

Great game. Everything you loved has been expended and improved upon. More areas to conquer and of course, more orks! I'm sorry, more 'Uruks'. There this one particular one, which at the time of writing is level 30 and he doesn't not stay dead. Shoot him comes back alive. Burn him? He's reappear with some burns. Send an assassin? Um, they died? Let's just say the only reason I haven't recruited him is out of spite. Other than that the rest of the Uruks are pretty fun to fight and pretty interesting by themselves. Props given to the Voice actors and writers to making even the lowliest of uruks fun to fight and interact with.

Early Access Review
In the First Risk of Rain, it would eventually rain if you hang around for too long, thus making the name of the game relevant. In it's sequel however, no rain can be spotted even at 70 minutes of playing. Sorry to say but the game's score is 0/10 until this is fixed at a later date.
