The commentary is really good, as you walk through the world it will come on and they talk but what they did, how they did it, and why somethings are the way they are

I too played the original, then got the director's cut, though I didn't play with the commentary on. It's one of those games that I rarely play, but when I do, I play it obsessively.

Played the ♥♥♥♥ out of that game then bought the Directors Cut on sale and played with the commentary on, was very good.
