After playing a decent amount of the game, I would NOT recommend it. Wait for it to be patched, and wait for a sale. If Fallen Order is anything to go by, this game will be $10 in a year.

The story is good, the combat is really satisfying, and the world is full of little things to explore. Essentially, it's Fallen Order but bigger and better. For those unfamiliar with Fallen Order, that means: a God of War/Uncharted-esque action-exploration game, set in the Star Wars universe, with a heavy focus on platforming and a souls-lite combat/saves/xp system. Smacking enemies with the lightsabers feels great, the story is interesting, and the attention to the detail is solid.

At launch, it is marred by severe technical issues which really take away from the experience. When it does run properly, it looks great and plays even better. Unfortunately, that's been maybe 5% of my playthrough. The rest of my time has been spent at <=30fps, with blurry textures and heavy stuttering. Not quite the best way to experience a grand adventure.

EDIT: I have a far less positive opinion now because it is months later and several patches later and the game still runs horribly. Absolute shame.
