This is a very cute story-driven game about a school D&D...I mean, "Cats & Catacombs" club. It intermixes easy-to-navigate story elements with short, tactical strategy matches held using the C&C system. It has a lovely amount of depth that touches on things like having emotional intelligence, paying attention to cues from other people, empathy, understanding, and helping others become better versions of themselves. All while playing a storytelling game with miniatures within the video game itself! Play! The best way to learn anything.

It's been an enjoyable experience as an adult, but I would also very highly recommend this game for kids/teens, as I think they'll get exposed to a lot of good ideas while they're playing. Not only will this enhance the very important life skills I listed above, but it will also have them working on strategic planning and forethought at the same time in a very forgiving environment. Make a lot of poor choices and lose the battle? No problem! You can play it over and over again until you win with no penalty to you. A delightful learning environment. I bought a copy for my young teenage nephew, and I can't wait for him to get to play it!

Already a fan of the first game, I was eager to continue! Just played through the whole thing with the same friend I played "We Were Here" with, and we enjoyed solving all the puzzles to get to the end of this one. The walkie-talkie element is still a great mechanic, though there are a few screens that lose the visual. I'm excited to switch roles and play through on the other side! There were some really tense timed moments in this one, that really amped the adrenaline, without it being a creepy jump scare, though I did appreciate the nod to the marionette. ;) Another thumbs up!

A fun puzzle game! Multiple rooms, with many puzzles, and a neat mechanic of examining for hidden things. I did run into one issue (no spoilers, so go ahead and read on!) in room 11 where an unlit torch should spawn on the floor of the left room, but it did not, and thus, I had no way to complete the puzzle. Resetting objects from the menu did not make that one respawn for some reason, but if this happens to you too, what worked for me was loading up directly from room 11, and the object spawned correctly. I was able to continue to the end of the game without any other issue. Very entertaining! If you enjoy puzzle and/or escape-the-room-type games, you'll probably have a good time with this. :)

Very enjoyable escape the room game! There are two levels of difficulty, so there are two ways to enjoy the game. :) Also makes it a nice game to introduce less puzzle-intense friends to. ;) I did not find any of the puzzles difficult, on either difficulty, but enjoyed the way the room was set up. In the more challenging mode, you don't need to solve all of the puzzles to win, but I did them all anyway because I can never get enough. It would be really fun to play multiple rooms! It's a short game, but enjoyable.

Update: the crash error is finally fixed, so I'm changing this review to a "would recommend"

The atmosphere is SUPER FUN. As a general fan of space-things and puzzle/escape-the-room games, this was basically made for my ideal entertainment. <3 The zero gravity was super fun to play in, though, knowing I might need the pieces, I did default to "tying things down" as best I could, the way astronauts have to do. I recommend a little play without worry, though, because there is a great little button in the game menu that will keep your progress but reset all of the objects, in case you've lost anything. An excellent feature! The puzzles were engaging and fun, and I just wanted more of them! (I will mention that the liquid puzzle was my least favorite, as it seemed like a long solution for something that wasn't as "on brand" as the other puzzles.)

Now that I've finally gotten to play the last room, I was a little underwhelmed by the puzzles I found in there.

Just played this for the first time tonight, and it was exactly what I expected: LOADS OF ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FUN! Highly recommend, and we only just started. The throwing/catching mechanic is an absolute joy, and I can't wait to see what else is in store here....I know I'm going to love it!

This game...get yourself ready for a hilarious time of trying to team-up with friends and complete as many orders as you can in these crazy kitchens! It always ends up being all of us just screaming orders (in a delightful way) at each other while we try to keep the kitchen under control, our adorable characters bumping into each other over and over. It's fast-paced, it's super fun, the levels are pretty short, so it's easy to swap players in and out if you have too many to play at once. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Go on, make Kevin proud! :D Great job, Ghost Town Games!

This was a very sweet puzzle game which must be played co-op. I've never seen a mechanic like the way this game is set up before: you both have to have the game, but you don't need to "link up" with each other--just choose one role each, and you're good to go! Your progression is tied to information that the other person has, and there is even sometimes a timing element despite the fact that you're playing separate games--really cool! It was a fun way to spend some time with a friend, and the ending (Don't worry; never spoilers! It's always safe to read my reviews!) was a great moment. The puzzles were not difficult, though I enjoyed playing this, and would be excited about another game like this one with more complex puzzles. Well done, Other Tales Interactive; I look forward to see what you do next. :)

Still in-progress, but I am greatly enjoying this game! It's great fun to play all three characters, choosing each one when the time is right. I though it might be difficult to switch between them in the heat of the moment, but it's been fine. I am a little sad that the main female character hasn't said too much while the 2 male characters have had more lines, but I am glad that one off the main characters is female. Might update this again when I've completed the game. :) So far so good; Would recommend!

Cute game! Very short (took me about half an hour, but might take you less if you don't insist on clicking every single book, haha) and sweet, with thoughtful puzzles that were pretty easy (in my opinion--though I devour puzzle games!) There is the definite potential for there to be more, and it feels like a demo for a game I want to play. Well done! May the story continue another time. :)
