I'd recommend this! A fun VR experience that takes you down into the underworld to explore the path to your character's afterlife. It's a bit of a depressing story, haha, but the game was very enjoyable! The climbing mechanic is something I haven't done in a VR game before, and it was really fun (and a bit of a workout!) If you want a fun game that comes with some new experiences, give this a play.

My two little notes for the developers are these: (1) Sometimes the hand-grabbing controls were a little off. For example, when trying to climb, it was easy to (apparently) not actually be holding on to the thing. This was mostly very annoying during the final (first) tower climb. Another example is when plucking strings, the hand didn't always make the correct finger-out position, so it was a little more difficult to know where you were "aiming" your hand. and (2) some of the "cutscenes" are a little long to be standing there in the world doing nothing for. Especially the parts in the tunnel (while on the boat, discovering a string of past memories) and the final one (though, maybe that's because I had to do it multiple times due to the way the game saves and having to restart it because the final arrow was glitching.) Well done finishing a game and getting it out there! I enjoyed my playthrough. :)

I have only just started this game tonight and I can say with all certainty that it is clearly my favorite game of all time. It's like Studio Ghibli, Dragon Quest, and Pokemon had a baby game. <3 Literally every single thing about this game is delightful. The animation style/art is (obviously) amazing. The music and the sound design is incredible. The onboarding is so well done. (How refreshing!) There are so many little details, and every single one of them makes my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day. (The way you can hear convos or sounds of people doing things as you pass by out of one speaker or the other. Little animations, like how when you stand still in water, Oliver will pick up his foot in a way that says "ugh, my shoe is wet." YES YES YES YES YES

This is very worth your time. What a delightful game! The environments were really cool--it definitely felt like I was sitting in the water, or in the forest, etc. Sometimes the controls were a little challenging, but that was a factor of playing a 3rd view character in a 3D space from a semi-fixed perspective--not something my game experience has prepared me for! Our hero is delightfully animated--I especially love the high-five sequence! <3 I wanted more when I got to the end--is there a book 2?

I've only just started with one play session tonight, and already I am very happy to give this game a million thumbs up. I have already played through Ori and the Blind Forest, so I've got an idea what to expect with this, and it is not disappointing! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the transitions between cut-scene and gameplay are so smooth. Maybe a little too smooth, actually, as (more than once) I've waited at the end of a cut scene not realizing that I should move again. The gameplay is immediately familiar and enjoyable with easy space for new things. If you haven't played Ori and the Blind Forest yet, start there, and then come back for this sequel. You are going to have a great time! Highly recommend! I cannot wait to continue!

This is a decent escape the room game. :) None of the puzzles were incredibly difficult to figure out, so this is a pretty accessible game! Here are my two gripes with it: (1) The dark/creepy theme kind of put me off a little bit to be honest--I didn't feel that it added to the game at all. It would have been more interesting if I were someone (like a detective) trying to figure out the details of a murder through the puzzle instead of being a random guy who woke up here and doesn't understand why, with a creepy man watching me on camera and talking to me through the speakers. Ehh. And (2) Though I've found this to be a common issue across VR games, there were some difficult moments of interacting with objects. For example, drawing with the red marker turned out to be difficult to do successfully, and it became frustrating to try to do everything I was trying to do with that object, such that that task, which started out as an "oh, cool!" moment turned into a bit of a frustrating task. That being said, there were some nice moments and fun puzzle ideas. Good job, team!

This is like a simpler version of Banished, if you've ever played that. It's a fun city-builder. The graphics are simple but cute, and the town looks adorable. It's nice that the "dangers" don't completely wreck your town if they happen when you are not really prepared enough for them, so it doesn't impede your progress that much. (Which is a nice note for a more casual gamer friend!)

My three biggest gripes with it so far are that (1) the onboarding is terrible and almost nonexistant, (2) there are a few issues with objects getting in the way of seeing: for example, the cloud animations are neat but they are sometimes in the way of the camera and the only way to reliably get rid of them is to super zoom in or when you can't actually build something, the popup telling you that gets in the way of seeing where the build area will be (in the case of forresters, for example) so it makes planning a bit of a visual challenge. [On that note, I also wish you could see the size/area of items that you cannot build, so you can plan a spot for them in your city.], and (3) some things are really unclear: for example, at the beginning of the game my happiness level was in the 70s and people were moving in, but it's the same now, and people don't think my city is nice enough to live in? Why though. (And no, there are no indicators currently of things that people need/want to act on.)

All in all, I've played it for about 10 hours so far, and I will continue to play more, so I still recommend it. :) It's a nice, easy city-builder to get lost in, and that's exactly what I need right now.

Unfortunately, I wasn't too thrilled with this game. One thing that bugged me throughout was that the hands were set at a weird angle to the controllers, so it made doing some movements, especially around interacting with objects, really weird, and I had to twist my actual hands in odd ways to make it work. Kind of uncomfortable. Additionally, and tied in to that, the physics aren't great, particularly when it comes to throwing...which is necessary at least at one point. Overall, less fun than I was hoping. :(

I am mid-summer, and greatly enjoying the game. I love games like this where you get to build stuff, so I'm really excited about it. The one issue I have with it is that they throw you into a lot right away and the onboarding is not great. There are many times where I wasn't sure how to do something, and/or I was given a static text explanation of a thing before being thrust into a timed event. This game would stand to be improved with a more interactive demo to explain/teach things before tossing you in. That said, I am ultimately having a great time and eager to play more!

Just played this with a friend for the first time tonight, and barring the poor connection issues that cropped up, we both had a great time! The characters are so cute, and the little animations are darling. So far, I only wished that the fox would shake off after coming out of the water. :) It's a very forgiving game if you don't do something in time, and I love that it ties in to the actual culture of these people. Excited to watch the videos that we unlock!

I only just started playing this game with a friend tonight, and it's super fun! There wasn't any onboarding, so I wasn't sure how things worked (even things like accessing the UI) but once I started to figure it out, I had a great time learning and exploring alongside my friend! I cannot wait to play this again and see what else there is in here! :) Very enjoyable, especially when you are in good company.
