Better than Civilization IMO.
Pro's:
-You can play as every nation within the timescale of 1444 to circa 1870, so it doesn't get repetitive easily.
-Great in-game music selection.
-Huge community, great workshop mods every week. (You should consider giving a try to Extended Timeline mod.)
-Game's still getting updates.
-And so on...
Con's:
-You gotta pay a lot to play the real game. DLC's are great, but way too expensive.
-The game mechanics are really hard to learn if you are not familiar with previous works of Paradox Interactive. Still learning things after many hours.
-Could've got a girlfriend or study or sth. instead of wasting hundreds of hours in this game.
