Released 1987 and also known as 飛翔鮫 (Hishouzame). This is when Toaplan really started cooking with gas! Awesome music, addictive gameplay, and a timeless aesthetic that would later influence Seibu Kaihatsu's masterpiece Raiden series

starts slow and the combat isn't very exciting or varied, but past these things is a game full of personality and genuinely funny and enjoyable characters

Angel at Dusk is everything you want in a shooter and more. It starts off easy enough for beginners, has a very good tutorial (genuinely helpful), and looks and sounds excellent the whole way through.

whatever kind of humor this is supposed to be, it's not for me. Kitschy, lazy, and offputting

This is the worst game I'll ever give thumbs up to. You need a x360 controller emulator for it to work properly.

Cultic experience on Normal: very fun throwback shooter with great sound design, interesting weapons, solid music, and rare moments of tense horror atmosphere. A well executed game, and while I would have preferred faster movement speed and no fall damage, all my complaints are minor in the scope of everything Cultic does to draw you in and keep you there. Highly recommended!
