If you would ask me what is my favourite single-player game, my answer would be: Mafia 1. Mafia 1 original version. This Definitive Edition is not even close to original one, and I am very very disappointed that huge game studio can't make better game in 2021 than small studio in 2002. Mafia 1: Definitive Edition have a very nice graphics, city looks gorgeous and cars are magnificent. And that's it. There is nothing better.

In Mafia 1: DE there are all these things which are huge cons for me.
- Dialogues are cringy, childish and shallow without any added value.
- Difficulty is way too easy even on the "classic" (which is supposed to be very hard, lol). I remember playing last mission in original version with probably 20 tries playing it for 2 hours. I finished the same mission in DE version on first try in a maybe 10-15 minutes.
- NPC are literally dumb.
- Cars physics are so unrealistic and driving them is not entertaining at all.
- Whole game is rushed, every single mission is speeded up compare to original version.
- Scripted scenes. In 2021? really?

I'm pretty sure I'll never play this game again. And I am also pretty sure I will play original version couple more times even though i finished it probably 10 times already.

I recommend playing original version from 2002. Yeah graphics is outdated (no ♥♥♥♥), but whole game is much much better in every other aspects.
