Not Recommended

32.3 hrs on record (31.1 hrs at review time)

Pros:
- Good graphics
- Good music
- Some voice acting and dialogue is good
- Occasional good main story mission

Cons:
- Combat is fun at first, but gets repetitive and the flaws become more and more apparent (blocking timing & indicator is counterintuitive, improper enemy scaling, teammates do little to help in combat)
- Storyline is C-grade rating at best (tell, don't show storytelling makes the player feel like they're being spoon-fed plot)
- Lot of filler nontent
- Some voice acting is inexcusably poor for a AAA studio
- Skill tree and specializations are poor, upgrades (even significant ones) don't feel like they impact gameplay/playstyle
- Enemies get repetitive, overuse of boss battles as side quests (without providing a recommended level, involves trial-and-error to see if you are at a level capable of defeating a boss)
- In-game navigation (HUD indicator) rarely works, map can be confusing at times
- (Regardless of political opinion) Non-binary character's arc is shallow and merely for virtue signaling; painfully obvious and hurt the developer's cultural ends more than it helped. Should have approached the issue as if the character was a person (show...) and not merely a medium to telegraph the dev's intent (...don't tell)

Would not recommend to 90% of people unless you've played the prior dragon ages or just need a game to fill the gap between better titles

(Not optimistic for Mass Effect 4)
