Absolute diamond in the rough situation here. It's this year's Kenshi: an indie action RPG with an unusual and exciting premise (the Christian god waging war against the Pagan Slavic gods to absorb their power and convert them into saints) and some really out-there mechanics. Lots of little traps to kill the player, but it never feels unfair and player deaths are incorporated into the larger narrative. It's a well-crafted world where you can feel the passion poured into it, and it feels like a project the larger industry would never in a million years produce.

All that said, you can tell it's made by an extremely small team. Flavor text has a lot of varying quality, but the main story dialogues trend towards well-written. Some text feels poorly translated, but it gives the world a strange and intriguing atmosphere. The game itself is not tremendously well-optimized or pretty, but if you can look past those bugs it's an incredibly engrossing experience. Plays a little like Titan Quest mixed with World of Warcraft.

Grab this one while it's hot :]
