It's a damn shame. This game is just a cash cow now. You can probably say the same for other games such as TF2 which I'm happy to throw a few pennies at here and there, because the game works just fine without it.

This 'free' game has MTX at every corner and isn't really fun to play unless you're throwing money at it. Tight inventory space, limited functionality and the neckbeards who are happy to spend $100 or more, stand there belittling you at every chance they get.

Years ago I would have recommended it - now, though, I cannot possibly give it a thumbs up.

Do what they did with RuneScape and release a vanilla version prior to all this monetisation crap and I swear people will return.
