Make sure to clear an afternoon or a whole weekend if you want to play this game. It's a time-eater in the best possible way—the gameplay flows well and the progression feels balanced, the music is excellent, and the graphics and performance in shapez 2 are absolutely gorgeous. I've played a lot of hours in the first game and was excited when this one was released to EA, and I was definitely not disappointed. I've only got 2.5 hours so far at the time of writing this review, but I know I'll have many more ahead of me.

I enjoyed the revamped progression system in shapez 2 over the first game. Getting to choose what I unlocked next was a pleasant surprise. I do like the progression in shapez as well but it was nice to have something fresh to add another aspect to strategizing.

I'm looking forward to trying out the rails once I unlock them!

I've loved cookie clicker since its earliest days as a browser game (back when there were only a handful of buildings) and I'm really happy to support Orteil with this steam version :)
