All "Bad physics" reviews are coming from DR2.0 players who are mad because physics are not the same as DR2.0. Braking has always been too arcadeish in WRC and in DR, so they fixed that, it takes much longer distance to slow down then it used to.
Game is cheap
Visuals are fine
Sounds are fine
Gameplay is great, theres a lot of content
Many many rallies and stages, you don't have to buy any rallies (take notes Codemasters/EA)
Yes there are minor bugs and few issues (more or less for some), but i hope they will fix these issues.
People who haven't tried any KT WRC games should give this one a chance, BUT you should understand that everything thats different to what you are used to, is not BAD or UNREALISTIC.
It's great farewell to fans who loved KT WRC series. Looking forward to playing it many many hours.

Have played WRC9 (which was made by them btw) and ive enjoyed the physics on that game as on tarmac because it is pointy and stiff AS IT SHOULD BE TO A POINT WHERE ID ARGUE ITS MORE ENJOYABLE THAN THE ONES ON DR2.0. But no instead they took the physics from the gravel stages and make it more grippy. which also translates to it be very floaty and makes you like youre on an SUV

Do you guys like gatekeeping or what?
I am a pro at playing with my toy cars in the neighborhood sandbox. I am even skidding like crazy on sand while also providing the sound effects.
Now that you respect my dominance over you..

Anyway, is this a game with or without rubber banding ?
Like at all?
And, I like 4 big D's handling in the ruff(that's how grown ups shorten a word like Dirt4),
but I hate Dirt Rally 2, and Dirt 5. So, is this for me, or is it to hard?

(Btw,I sold my toy steering wheel, I am planning on doing a seppoku because I play driving games with a controller . Please answer if you're not one feeling attacked by this comment on snobbish gamers)

Welp, that's a shame, not a deal breaker though, I highly liked the stages on WRC9 even though the physics on that one were way too forgiving, so if anything I might get this one just for the stages again and anything else will be a welcome surprise

I heard at least from somebody on launch, that the sound is somehow worse than in the previous title and read from somebody else that it might be the mixture of the sounds in loudness

Another (much more minor) concern, is the sounds. I've played WRC9 (I skipped 10), and in that game the sounds were absolutely awful, you would enter a tunnel and there would be no reverb, no sense of ambience whatsoever. Is that aspect improved in this title?

Honestly my standard for physics is Rallysimfans RBR, not DR 2.0. If you have played that, how does it compare?

@Snake It doesn't look like real environments, in other words?
Snake 9 Nov, 2022 @ 6:40am
@Dryspace - I mean that the scenery outside of the roads is very generic and samey, not that the actual corners were proc-gen like you could have then in Dirt 4.

I have played DR, DR2.0, WRC 8 to generation and RBR. Your statement makes me doubt that you have played anything other than Dirt Rally, because WRC10 and RBR are much more similar than Dirt Rally and RBR. WRC 7 was actualy arcade rallying, so i don't understand how you could say that 10 was worse than 7.

Huh? I had no idea that Dirt Rally's tracks were (partly?) procedurally generated. That makes no sense for a racing game/sim --- unless it's some kind of optional feature for making additional tracks.
