Classic "asian game for western audiences".

Every positive factor is devalued by a negative.
Decent concepts, ♥♥♥♥ execution. Unique spin on detective genre, yet terrible "detective" gameplay. You get to possess a cat, but story is boring even at its peak (also short). Cutscene, cutscene, cutscene...

Then again, if you view this as a "visual novel with elements of interactivity", then you'd compare this game with much lower standards and review would definitely be positive.
For 2014, cutscenes look pretty good, and amount of gameplay is astounding (if you compare with pressing spacebar now and then).

Very simple and short puzzle game.

Those looking for a challenge will be disappointed, but my experience was still enjoyable.

Promising game that got a lot of things right, but too many little details very wrong. Core gameplay is simply not enjoyable. This game is just a stepping stone for next, better games of this studio.

Just play Hades instead.

Probably the best ever puzzle game for programmers, both experienced and aspiring.

This game will teach you how to learn and follow new rules, and then how to think out of the box and bend those rules to your will. In other words, player will develop or reinforce certain way of thinking, approaching the problems at hand, that would transition and help them in real life, and that is actually amazing.

And in addition to that, it's extremely fun and aesthetically appealing!

Note: some of the advanced puzzle levels may be very tiring after long time periods of solving, so make sure to take breaks if you're stuck! Just don't cheat! It's part of the learning process! Dopamine release awaits you only if you solve it by yourself!

Original has better music and pixels are grainy as ♥♥♥♥. Actual content is good though.

Sam & Max - that's where poo gets real. Sam & Max is the pillar of dark humour. Sam & Max is the character chemistry, how it should be done. Sam&Max is (almost) the last bastion of goshdarning puzzles in diddlydarn Telltale's games. Sam & Max is love, Sam & Max is life.

Do it for Sam & Max.
