Game is pretty good. Really hard. If you like a single-dungeon roguelike thats hard as heck, this is a strong choice. Controls and UI are quite nice, lots of little attention to detail on the part of the developer that make this nice to play.

100 something hours later- this game is easily a 9/10 game in my book.

its an honest-to-goodness good MMORPG IF youre okay with the following:

Premium is required, if youre not willing to pay for it with money you will pay for it via grinding time
PvP is a central part of the game and pvp deaths are full-loot-drop
The world is crowded in some areas and requires diligence in finding good spots for grinding

The game was fun, its got a cute 16 bit art style (which is always a big plus for me), and it isn't overcomplicated by stacking in redundant mechanics.

The controls are a little weird on mouse and keyboard, so I would recommend using some kind of external controller for playing; though its still fully playable without one. The game tells a story through collectable items and encourages the player to find them all. Some are in the direction you're moving, others are a bit out of the way and will require a bit of creativity to find them (a pretty big plus if you value exploration and finding secrets). The game has no real combat system and instead has you treat them like pieces of the puzzle you need to solve; which i feel fits the style of the game well. The atmosphere of the game is nice and matches well with the soundtrack; simplistic in a really appealing way.

At the price point, I'd recommend this to basically anyone with a few bucks to spare and an appreciation for a cute little platformer.

This is my absolute favorite genre of game. an oldschool single player RPG with all the cliche elements (paladins, blacksmiths, potatos, ect.) For a really long while, I couldn't find anything (other than an old game called fate if you've heard of it, would recommend) until very recently.

I only have about an hour into the game and I already love it more than pretty much any other RPG i've played in a long time.

To anyone on the fence about buying this game: If you don't like the art style, don't let that be the reason you don't buy the game. I personally wasn't a big fan at first, but it grows on you and combined with the games interface it just 'works'. The game has a fun combat system, it has a lot more depth than a lot of modern RPG where its just 'go here, do this' 'go there, do that' 'go in there and stab that big guy, you win!', and the person who wrote the dialog in this game is genius.
