After playing Project Zomboid for 700 hours, I can say it is by far one of my favorite games. The game is complex and difficult. You will make mistakes, you will get bitten, you will die. It happens, and the best thing you can do is just learn from it. There is an extreme amount of workshop modding support out there that makes the game better than it's original vanilla self but don't let that bother you either. Vanilla game-play is just as fine but I definitely like expanding. It's a great game to play with other people or friends. The developer and support is reliable. I recommend it personally over The Forest or any other survival type of game out there. It is a top down birdseye view game so if that bothers you, then you probably won't enjoy it. It's worth it at full price, and it's a total steal on sale. The discord has active people, friendly people and it's just a great community to be apart of.
