Because you feel that pain in your heart,
even without a real knife
piercing through your chest.
Being human means breaking ,
Because you know you cannot place blame
on another fragile soul
as if they where sinless,
immortal being.
Like they are not allowed
to make mistakes to learn from.
Being human means hurting and breaking
and knowing there is peace in forgiveness
and solace in acceptance
but still feeling the wound bleed anyway.
Being human means being irrational
with stubborn, demanding feelings
that even with the blade still planted,
continue to swarm towards you
even when there is no longer
any sensible reason
to still hold on.
I am human being
and I always forget that
you are too .
