A masterpiece in every way, shape, and form.

Firstly, the gameplay. It's amazing how well the gameplay and it's many elements tie into the overall story and theme of the game. Overall, you're going to have a rough time generally if you play the game just with Sam alone. But, if you can put aside the differences between you and the mutants and accept them for who they have now become, you can overcome the largest obstacles in the game.

The music, it fits so well into...everything. All it takes is to reach the roof, and hear Exposure play for the first time to realize the sheer scale of everything. The Visitor. What it's caused, if by accident.

The story and themes. The game is exceptionally different from most Eldritch horror. This isn't a game about losing your mind and body to something incalculable, it's about curiosity, and that people- now matter what their differences or circumstances may be- can put aside their differences and work together. Whether it be to form a bond, or rebuild the world.

The game isn't about the end of the world, it's about it's drastic shift. Maybe for the worse, maybe for the better. In my opinion, it's true ending is extremely somber, if not just a bit bitter...but in the end, you're left with the knowledge that, everything will be okay. It is okay. You're surrounded by friends. You're happy.
