At first glance I got all I could've possibly asked for:

- cross platform multiplayer (be it Linux, Windows, Mac or, with beta branches, consoles)
- day-1 release for all platforms
- improved gameplay
- improved diplomacy
- improved graphics
- some Paradox-inspired events
- Vulkan

Give it a few months and this will win Game Of The Year 2025. They just need to fix a few bugs here and there.

The game has a transgender character that other NPCs treat like a real person instead of beating it with a bat. These things do not belong anywhere and especially not to HP universe.

I started playing a version from the high seas, not knowing what to expect.
So many games have a 70€ price tag these days, yet many of them fail to impress.

A few hours later, I knew this is not the case.
A few more hours later, I didn't want to be a pirate anymore.
A few moments later I was more than happy to buy this game.
This speaks for itself. This means something.

This is my entry to the world of Silent Hill and I only regret that it didn't happen sooner. This is a masterpiece!

Runs fine on ultra settings on Linux with an RX 7900 XT in 1440p resolution, even with AV1 VAAPI recording on, and even while rendering another video on top of that.

More than a year ago I finished this game with the help of a Nintento Switch emulator. It was great because ~1 month prior that I finished RDR2.
Now, what can I say about this PC version?

It's a different experience. it looks better. It doesn't have these crane-like controls anymore. It's like a deluxe edition and I kinda regret playing the Nintento version but there was no way of knowing this PC version was on the way.

It runs like a dream on Arch Linux in Proton with an RX 7900 XT in 1440p; 120fps stable and AV1 recording on.

For your own safety, change the following settings:
- horse camera = horse relative
- hold SHIFT to run (vehicles) = enabled

BTW this game supports FSR3 Native AA and it's the best anti aliasing solution I've ever seen. The game looks great.

Looks, plays and feels great. And runs well on Linux with Proton Experimental. Everyone complains about FPS and indeed, if I have just 80 FPS on a 7900 XT, I doubt it's very playable for most poeple but it's just a prologue, that's expected.
Please finish this so we can finally find peace and closure in our hearts.

Now we just need Crusader DE to save real time strategy gaming because it is still the best RTS ever made.

Runs like a dream on Linux in Proton.

DE jsem před dvěma lety nesnášel. Po dvou letech se nezměnila ani tak ta hra, jako spíš moje priority. Chyb je tam dost. Game breaking je v podstatě akorát ovládání jetpacku a particly ohně.

Už ale spíš tohle, než hrát původní verzi na 30 fps, což je poslední nejvyšší garantovaná hodnota, na které se nerozbíjí fyzika. Definitive Edition se hraje příjemněji a při příštím hraní bych ji volil znova.

Na RX 7900 XT a Arch Linuxu běží krásně, lock na 120 fps přes libstrangle. Dohráno beze smrti. Deathless challenge kompletní a zrovna v DE, takže zas tak úplně špatný to není.

Tohle už se dá. Zásadní bugy se opravily. VC DE je z celý trilogie asi v nejlepším stavu. Pokud bych to hrál znovu, vybral bych si zase DE. Grafika je nádherná a k tomu hra netrpí engine bugy při fps vyšším, než ~45.

Je však třeba složit poklonu tomu, kdo vymyslel ovládání vrtulníků. Člověk se musí zrodit ze semena pocházejícího z několika incestů napříč několika generacemi voličů Babiše a SPD, aby dokázal vymyslet takhle dementní ovládání.

Hra má zabugovanej in-game fps limiter, je lepší použít Mangohud nebo libstrangle, jinak se laguje míření.
Na Arch Linuxu s RX 7900 XT jinak běží krásně, fps omezeno přes libstrangle.

Téměř dohráno. Stará dobrá klasika s obskurními bugy v pěkné grafice. Vyřešily se hlavně problémy s bugy při vyšších FPS. Custom radio je pryč. Míření laguje. Ale jo, hra je to pořád dobrá a už bych radši hrál DE, než se sral s původním GTA3 na 30 fps, ale je škoda, že vývojáři nesdílí tu lásku pro takovou legendu, kterou cítí její hráči.

Na Arch Linuxu s RX 7900 XT má hra občas problém si udržet framerate byť na blbých 120 fps a náhodně dropuje ze 120 na 70-80. Při vypnutí FPS locku zase z 250 na 130. Ten problém je limitace CPU. Jenže R5 7600 by takovou hru limitovat neměl. Je to samozřejmě problém hry, slovem optimalizace kolem sebe mávám minimálně, ale tady problém je.
U hry, která má mobilní verzi a na takovém hardwaru neberu nic pod stabilních 240.
