Was using the FREE version for a whole year before actually buying it, and bought it 'cause it's just THAT GREAT.

Been a Photoshop user, using from work and sometimes at home, but wanted something I could use for free to draw independently online. Gotta say the transition was quite easy and I've come to PREFER Krita for most of my illustrations.

Animating in Krita is great, drawing in Krita is great, overall a pretty powerful and useful tool.

Tho still, I never used PTS, Clip Studio etc. so I myself can't compare, overall I RECOMMEND IT for indie artists.
