This game felt like a breath of fresh air for me when i was getting real tired of the good old Counter Strike classic, and I never could stand the over-importance of powers and meta in Valorant.

In Spectre:divide, basic mechanics are much more important in the end than just choosing the most meta character and going ham with whatever rockets or grenades you get for it.
Most accessories are just smoke grenades, incendiary, frag, like you would get in CS, and you have some more advanced stuff that allow for recon and area control, but nothing quite as annoying as in Valo, in my opinion anyway.

Now of course, the spectre mechanic is the big game changer here, pretty refreshing and brings some fun opportunities without making the game too complex. It also allows for the game to be played 3v3 on relatively large maps, which makes it easier to play with a whole team of friends, no need to grab everyone in your friends group just for a quick session.
