Looked interesting, but the game immediately bombards you with fetch quests and long dialogues, events, login bonuses, battle passes, a hundred of loot boxes, microtransaction shop. All this before you even get a chance to leave your camp and explore the Zone. This is a very poor implementation of F2P on top of a game that might have been very promising otherwise.

Very faithful remake of Dead Space. Design of survival action games was just something else back in the days and it has been kept as is. There are very few games like this that I enjoy replaying regularly.

I had this game pre-ordered for 3 years. I never had high expectations considering that developers were dealing with literal war - argument which I also don't think shields a product from all criticism. The game is decent, but is far behind what Stalker delivered 17 years ago.

Unfortunately one deal breaking issue leaves a poor taste in my mouth. It's not broken UE5 that runs like crap and looks in many ways worse than the original (no shadows from flashlights and weapon muzzle fire, glowing water at night, Lumen that looks like poop in interiors half of the time, noisy and blurry image, reliance on upscalers and frame generation).

It's the developers lying about the state of A-Life, where they claim it just "needs some bug fixes". However, turns out A-Life out doesn't exist at all - all enemies spawn randomly behind your back in a very small radius to give a very poor impression of a living world, with most POIs having predefined spawns. I could forgive it and wait for improvements, but just lying to customers using deceptive PR is something I cannot tolerate.

EDIT: Now the developers switched to another claim that A-Life was removed because of performance problem on consoles, instead of coming up with some roadmap for when this crucial system is going to be implemented.

Just play GAMMA and wait for modders to eventually fix this game.

Not as bad as anti DEI/woke crowd made it look.

EDIT: I take it back. The game lures you into a false sense security, then doubles down with a companion that cannot be dismissed or ignored, who is introduced only to make you feel like you are just the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥ person in the world. All the gameplay flaws mentioned by others also come out early in the game. I am sorry for misleading anyone who read this before.

Good game - exactly what I expected. I am not a Valve fanboy, so I have enough brain left intact to understand a difference between Epic online services and a launcher. Still, giving a negative review because I had to wait almost an extra week to play since I refused to pay an extortion 30$ fee for "an early access". This business practice should just die.

Fun and works well on Steam Deck

EDIT: The second part was a LIE. You have to do input binding manually and it's really buggy.

10/10 app for listening radio. Has a cool minigame for driving trucks.

Exceptionally fun game.

Great and beautiful game that I am sure with time will get all the content people are expecting from followup to Vermintide 2.

Triple-A version of Tarkov, but in space and with a mixture of gameplay from Apex. Many of its aspects (in which it can compete since it is not a military shooter simulator) are simply implemented much better than in EFT. This deserves better score on Steam.
