How do you make the last game run well on a weak console like the Switch and then have this game run poorly even on the lowest graphic settings

I'm not saying my PC is any strong, but this is the first game it cannot handle at all

Absoulutely charming game with a fun and fresh combat system!

I do not understand the complaints about the difficulty/balancing, I think the game is absolutely managable and it is still early, you will learn eventually. Rogue likes are always tough, but the runs in this one are especially short and sweet, you can always pick it up again and try anew withoug it feeling like you lost a lot of time/progress when you die

I don't consider myself good in card battlers at all, I do not even attempt higher difficulties in them, like Ascension in Slay the Spire, because I already struggle in the default difficulty, but I had no issue beating Wildfrost after a while, it just takes a bit to get used to this new and fairly complex combat

When you just want to check out a new deck builder rogue like and suddenly it's not?

Definitely got me hooked there after I beat the "final boss"

I'm not through the game yet, but so far everything has been an absolutely awesome experience.

It felt a little unvorgiving at first, when I picked the wrong deck and at some point just couldn't proceed, because I just couldn't make a strong enough deck to beat any of the available enemies, so I had to restart, but then everything went absolutely smoothly

As I've said, I'm not through yet, but I can't imagine the game letting me down at the final bits and it seems like there is also a lot of replay value there

I really love this game, but for the love of God, stop changing the behavior of hold notes like every second update

This game could be described with a single word: Pointless

I mean, yeah, if you play any game, you technically get nothing out of at the end of the day, but it's even worse in Cube World. I've tried to give it a chance, because I genuinly enjoyed the Alpha a lot back then, but now I'm just at the point where the frustrating gameplay choices made me stop playing.

The game has little to no rewards for anything you do. The first hours may seem enjoyable and similar to the old game, even though the XP grinding is missing. You gather equipment to get stronger for overall progression and you can face new foes with the time. But then, you are just done. The game world is split into many different zones and once you complete one of it it's just.. weird.

Because you obviously go over to another zone then, but it just causes you to lose everything. Literally anything you've achieved is lost, with just a few expectations. You can find super rare items that work on other zones as well, but that's just huge RNG and not reliable at all. Also you can find artifacts in each zone, which also increase your overall level. But instead of battle stats to make the new run through a new zone easier, it gives you a tiny improvement in your movement.

And that's just such an unrewarding feeling. You completed an entire area for nothing and just start over again somewhere else. But it doesn't feel like you've finished something, because the world is so damn huge that you've just completed like 0,0001% of the game. But the game doesn't encourage you the slightest to make it a 100%, because it doesn't get easier for you to progress through the game. At the end you just get thrown back and face the exact same roadblocks again, just with another color.

The idea in general is not at all bad, I can see a great system being built with area based limitations. But at least make the completion of something an accomplishment that affects your future gameplay. Even if it's just "Oh your 5 base attack are increased to 10", it is still more than "Congrats, for those 5 hours you've invested in this game, you can climb 2,5% faster now".

That is like the best metroidvania game ive ever played. It is not too easy and not too hard, it has a gigantic map to explore, creative characters and bosses and it gets even more good content as free DLC
