Overall, I say is a major improvement over the older editions of the game.
Sure, is not perfect and there are some annoying changes to the main campaigns, but they are all minor issues.
Editor has same good old interface, but now with more stuff we are allowed to do, so, custom scenarios and campaigns are gonna be neat (already working on one).
Final score: 8.5/10

Great game if you like zombie survivor games, needs some balancing on some of the mechanics, but otherwise is pretty fun

On a serious note:
The game is massive.
On the original demo alone, I spent 3 hours playing it (total sum of both by myself and with friends).
Is primarily a survival game, but, easily ranks on my TOP 3.
My biggest complain is the combat, some enemies are just waaaaaaay too much bullet sponge, even with high-tier weapons. But could also be skill issue.
You can build anywhere, make a cosy base or a stoic fortress.
Highly recommend.

Lots of potential, all wasted, because they couldn't stick to what had worked for their games for the past decades. Feels like 99% of the work went into the funny gimmicks of New Game +, which majority of players will never even see, and you have to do the most boring main quest Bethesda has ever made 11 TIMES! to get all the cool stuff.
I was super hyped about this game, and my disappointment couldn't be deeper. Maybe in a decade it will be good with 300 mods.
