Saw you were curious what colorblind people see. Check out this site: http://colorvisiontesting.com/what%20colorblind%20people%20see.htm
As I am colorblind - when I look at the dot patterns, photos, etc. on this site, they all look the same to me. (except for the tritanope version of the map photo...that looks slightly off).
So, we see color...just differently. Plus our brains will overcompensate for the lack of color vision by using past knowledge of what color certain shapes SHOULD be (i.e. grass is green, baseballs are white, etc.)
