This game is an absolute masterpiece !!!

First things first, I have spent around 300 hours into the game. I played it for free on the epic games store but it was so good that i felt like i stole the devs so i bought the game on switch and now i recently bought the game on steam.

That being said, i'll just express my love for this game :

First the gameplay, it's so good, the movements fits the character (maddy ^v^) very well and the gameplay mechanics are overall very original and varied. Pretty much everything is fun in this game and the way everything is built around your dash and those mechanics makes the game very enjoyable to play.

As for the ambiance, it is pretty much flawless. The pixel art fits the game and its essence, it is really beautiful and the OST really fits a lot. I mean this game has some of the best OSTs out there, Lena Raine did a GREAT job making the music fit the game and the ambiance of the different chapters.

The difficulty. Not gonna lie this game is hard when you start and will remain hard because the difficulty curve is so well gauged and is so smooth (except for one DLC chapter lmao) that you constantly are challenged by it while the game not being frustrating. You're having constant fun on some very good platforming challenges and it's without mentioning the little secrets and all the strawberries to collect (and damn those are a hell of a fun too). Be careful though, the game does features at the end some very very hard challenges but believe me you have time to improve because as i said the difficulty curve of this game is very very good.

This game helped many people with their depressions. This is not a joke at all. This game has a very very encouraging mentality, it pushes you forward constantly and it really has a constant theme that is basically the equivalent of "JUST DO IT". This game says to you "you can do it" every once and a while just to encourage you to beat the game like you would need to be encouraged to beat depression. I really don't know how depression works, i never had depression and honestly i don't want to, a person i know very well had a depression period and oh god it was terrible. This game talks about depression at some point and you might miss it if you don't really pay attention but what you will notice is how YOU are the character and YOU can do it. And this game really tells you that.

This is a really important game for me, i loved playing it so much and i still love playing it, this was my favourite game for a long long time (now it's hollow knight but celeste still holds a very close second place) and god knows it has a huge place in my heart because of how fun and sometimes how hard it was. This game is tough, yes, but this game is encouraging, this game loves you and you'll love it to !

I REALLY recommend this game, i couldn't recommend it more than that so stop reading this, buy the game and play this MASTERPIECE.
