A friend gifted Factorio for my 2x week Christmas holiday, I don't remember there being a Christmas Holiday .... I lost 190hrs

edit: 1.61 - still no cars on the road for me. Drove next to a lamp post and then the post fell on the car and blew me up. Went to fight in the glen for a mission, started the mission; got thrown out of the court yard, then couldnt speak to npc again to retry. Still as broken as when it launched.

Waited a year to try playing again, current patched version atm is 1.5; Ran to a car, it despawned. Ran down the street, a car spawned into a fire bin, then exploded and I got hit by a door. Found a car later on and got in it, then all traffic on the roads vanished. Was a literal ghost town. Drove thru a tunnel, was raining in said tunnel. Still a nope from me. Maybe patch 2.0 will be better. 5800x 3070. Sad times.

Managed 2 hours of play, then it crashed and now cant load into the game and it keeps trying to create a new profile nut it just errors, or the one time it some how magically loaded up, it said my saves were corrupt and refused to save the game. Glad i didnt pay for this garbage. Such a shame.

Started off good, great graphics, gameplay, sound effects etc proper resident evil style ..... but now I have a bug at the red truck that I end up walking through it, even after reloads and reboots. I now cant progress my game at all. RIP me.

Went thru a magic portal thing, got spat out off a cliff. No thanks.

Cheaters galore, and still just as toxic as ever. After 600+ hours, I cannot anymore.

I want to like it, but it has along way to go atm.
Some good concept ideas and mechanics but the Hit detection is horrendous and no oceanic servers!!

However theyve just added the Solo queue option at least.

TL;DR This game had potential, alot of potential but it is not worth the money anymore.

Simple, basic and to the point for quick editing.

I dont think its worth the full price, maybe more around $40 is a more fit price wise.

However, for the past few days its been bugged and says the app is active/open on my Laptop but its not. I cant find anything in the task manager for this app and even when I reboot the laptop it instantly opens as if its listed in the start manager ..... makes no sense.

It will be uninstalled.
