After giving this game some time and hitting end game, I have to say that this is a step down from World. It feels like they were trying to move forward, but stumbled along the way. It's not a bad game, and still enjoyable, but it feels like it's a spinoff of a monster hunter game that came out several years before World. I got my money's worth, and I'll pick up the expansion, but I do find myself missing World a lot.
