Disappointing from the perspective of long-time fans in many ways, but still overall enjoyable game play. The writing gets a bit cheesy and I wish there were more options to impact the story rather than the "hero" archetype, but we already knew EA was gutting the hopes and dreams of DA fans for years before it was released. It's not the rest of the series, but the hate is really overblown imo. I really like the character creator and battle mechanics. Someone who isn't as attached to the first three games probably won't find as many issues as the rest of us. 7/10? I've still had fun! Might be worth waiting for it to go on sale, though.
