So I'm just going to say 'Not recommended' if you expect this to be in the line of the previous Hitman games. In the meanwhile, IO themselves have admitted that Absolution was more of a lesson for them, than something to continue upon. If you look at it as a stand-alone game, it's quite fun, but I feel it's more of a Splinter Cell and Hitman hybrid than really Hitman. This isn't the way I want this series to go. 47 shouldn't be on the run; he should be in control when he's on missions.

Main reasons: instead of relying on disguises to get you through missions, you have to duck into cover a lot, which makes it feel more like Thief or Splinter Cell. There are missions that are fairly uninteresting, but there are very fun kill missions. The checkpoints are awful sometimes, and I'd rather choose my own save points.. Taking out three targets with a lot of precision by 'accidents' whilst looking for checkpoints on the level in the meanwhile doesn't make it more fun. The story is quite Hitman-esque with dark humour, that's a good thing. All in all: please make the sixth Hitman more like SA and BM!
