First let me say I wish i could get my bandwidth back. I wasted 20gb worth of bandwidth and ssd space to install this garbage just so i could leave my review. I would've never installed this hot garbage, shovelware of a "game" that is just a half baked platformer and a complete asset flip money grab.

The devs/publisher Wolfire Games (along with another dev Dark Catt) are currently in the middle of a lawsuit against Valve for supposed "anti-trust practices". Maybe if you focused on developing a game people would ACTUALLY want to play, you'd see some better figures. Instead you resort to going after the most pro-consumer storefront on market over a 30% commission. If it WASNT for Steam, I wouldn't even know you exist! You could give this garbage out for FREE and people still wouldnt buy this trash. I sure didnt! It was part of a bundle I bought!

Shame on you. Focus on making a decent game first, before you even attempt your frivolous lawsuit.
You will go the way of EGS. Forgotten and ridiculed. And no amount of freebies they give will bring me back.
You made your bed, now lay in it.

I'd rather gargle glass than play this TF2 wannabe clone.
Play a real FPS. Or better yet, help spread managed democracy!

Early Access Review
Decent game for only $10.
- Plenty of weapon combos you'd expect from a game of this genre.
- Unique mining mechanic to get resources/traverse the map
- Seeing hoards explodes is always fun

The number 1 most infuriating thing is the MOVEMENT. A challenge is fine, but not when it comes from not being able to control your character properly!
Some classes/weapon combos feel so clunky to play. The game wants you to explore the map and mine just as you would in DRG. But you'll soon find that to be frustrating despite necessary to get those sweet permanent upgrades. 95% of the weapons shoot in the direction your character faces. A inconvenience since you also have to be facing/touching something to mine it. Which makes sense.
Your weapons still fire if it detects bugs nearby (which there always are) so you are effectively shooting into the wall, which then causes you to reload at the worst times since you inevitably have to turn around to address the hoard.

I'll say it again. The inability to properly control your character doesn't add to the challenge!

Aside from that, I'll continue to play the game in hopes one day the devs simply add an option to fix this. It should be a very simple fix.

It's been over a year and the only major update was Hoppo shilling their RoR1 remaster.
The modding community is single-handedly keeping this game alive, and have done wonders extending the life cycle. I still go back every once in a while, browse the mods, do a god run or two, but overall I think this game had huge potential before selling it. There are many freedoms associated with being a small, up and coming developer. You can take risks, and take your time polishing the game without investors and middle managers breathing down your necks.

It's not all doom and gloom. Maybe Gearbox might actually give this game a single player mode, though I only hope they do it tastefully, whilst respecting the source material.

As it stands, the game is good fun especially at a $20 price point. But definitely feels neglected and in need of some TLC.

Probably one of the best idle games I've played.
Steep learning curve with lots of goals to accomplish.
I love the fact this game has no microtransactions and the latest DLC adds quite a lot of content.
