That was pretty bad. First time I ever played a game and thought, can't wait to uninstall this!

- There is no party system for you and friends
- Menu UI is awful
- Gameplay was not fun as the time to kill was ridiculously short and then you become infected which did not really add anything to the game itself

I was looking for a chilled game and this game really hit the spot.

From its cute art style, great gameplay and nice puzzles and fantastic soundtrack this game delivers a wholesome experience for anyone looking for a nice relaxing game.

You can tell the developers (Something We Made) put a lot of heart into their work.

Definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic game! I was expecting a fairly stylised card game, but wow... That's all I will say without going into spoilers.

What a Save!

So, I have not written a review in a long while and I have only just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around to truly completing this game.

Hollow Knight is a excellently crafted metroidvania game which utilises challenging yet rewarding gameplay, beautiful art style, amazing soundtrack and a fair amount of lore to satisfy.

Team Cherry have done a brilliant job and even thrown in a number of updates and DLC.

This is definitely one of the best games of that I played in 2017- 2018 and I greatly look forward to the sequel!

Having never had the opportunity to play the original on PS2.

I found this was an excellent port and a fun, great adventure game.
The only flaw I found with the PC port was that if you tabbed out from the game in 'Fullscreen' mode, there would not be a way in-game to revert back to full screen, despite pressing Alt + Enter/ Fullscreen setting only accessible via main menu.

Otherwise, the art style, story, gameplay are great. I am glad this HD remaster came out and gave a gamer like me an opportunity to experience an old game with a fresh release.

Great game. For something that is easy to pickup and get into. Despite being coined as an 'Uncharted' rip off, the game shares spectacular visuals and great pacing with the exploration, puzzle-solving and combat mechanics.

Also for £14.99 on sale with all of the DLC. WORTH IT.

I now hate my friends. 5/5 would play again.

My so called friend got me this for Christmas instead of a DOTA2 item in exchange... This is worse than a lump of coal.

I returned the favour by leaving my family on Christmas day and tactfully taking a dump into his letterbox.

Balance has now been restored. :D

If you like Binding of Isaac and Minecraft, then I totally recommend this game!
The game consist of a perma-death, freeroam, crafting survival in which you discover lots of random enemies and items.
With its awesome art style and great soundtrack this game is a definite must buy for indie game lovers.
