Despite being one of the most obscure 2D Sonic games, Sonic CD is an excellent addition to any Steam user's library. While the Steam versions of Sonic 1, 2 and 3 are all simply emulated versions of the originals, CD got the special remaster treatment with a full wide screen, more options, more characters and online leaderboards. The game itself is wonderful, but I would like to avoid discussing it in detail to keep it all a surprise to those who haven't played the game yet. For 4 and a half bucks this is a steal of one of the best Sonic games out there; just don't expect your adventure to be terribly long with the game only having 14 levels.
