Wild Hunt provides an amazing role playing experience, including every feature you would expect from a narratively driven RPG. The amount of content on offering here is well beyond my expectation, with hundreds of quests and side activities that are guaranteed to keep you busy for tens if not hundreds of hours. Every single quest is well fleshed out, fully voiced, scripted, and often have multiple approaches to completion, your choices matter and you may not know the full blown outcome of your decisions for tens of hours.

The combat has also taken a step up from The Witcher 2, and now feels more fluid and responsive. And the same goes for skills and potions.

Pick this game up and you won't regret it. Sure to keep you busy for a VERY long time. I would very much recommend picking up the expansion pass while you're at it!
