Absolutely my favorite game of all time, and nothing even comes close.

The story is good. It doesn't really have anything crazy going on but it's very enjoyable and most importantly makes me feel happy.

The gameplay is top tier. The movement is smooth and forgiving. Levels can be hard but even the most frustrating ones are enjoyable in the end.

The art is sooooo beautiful. I'm not that big into pixel art, I don't dislike it but it never had a huge effect on me. In this game though, everything looks gorgeous. Every level has a new style and all of them fit the mood perfectly.

The music is just perfect. Every single track sounds and feels amazing. Listening to the OST throws me right back to 2018 and climbing the mountain for the first time. Not a single beat feels out of place.

The difficulty and the length of the game. The main story is easy enough for an average gamer to complete, but it does offer small challenges here and there. The story isn't too long, or too short so the game is worth it even for the main story. B & C sides offer enough challenge for anyone wanting to get more out of the game. Chapters 8 and (especially) 9 aren't necessary but amazing and hard additions for the story. Overall the difficulty should be fine for nearly everyone, just gotta choose how far you want to push it.

I've completed the game "100%" myself, and currently on my way to collect the golden berries, still not tired of the game. The game has its moments to annoy me, but even then, I love every single aspect of it.
