Outer Wilds is a game that I wish, sincerely, that I could review in a tell-all manner. But I can't. No one can, or rather, no one should. It's beyond special, and one of the reasons for that is that it perfectly encapsulates the feeling of discovery, of exploration, of finding something new and exciting and different.

Because Outer Wilds is new. It's exciting. It's different. It's absolutely brilliant in every conceivable way. The art direction is stunning, the mechanics are clever, the puzzles are ingenious, and the story is... well, you'll have to see for yourself.

It's absolutely criminal that this game hasn't gotten more attention. And it's criminal that it costs as little as it does. Outer Wilds provides an experience you'll think about for months or years. It's the type of game where you finish it, sit back, and feel a brutally immense sadness that you will never be able to experience it again for the first time.
